In drop tests, the ball achieves a 10/10 fragility rating, making it the ideal training ball for tournament players. Unfortunately, the manufacturing process sometimes causes drops to form in the bags, so the paint may need to be cleaned with a simple paper towel before it goes into the hopper. Both characteristics are part of the product and therefore cannot be returned. Scope of delivery: one box with 4 bags of 500 paintballs each General note on paintballs: Paintballs are a living, breathing product, like fruit in the fresh produce section of the supermarket. When selected and handled correctly, they are a lot of fun, but if handled incorrectly, problems can arise. -    Paintballs should be stored at +15°C to +25°C in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. -    The gelatine shell attracts moisture, causing paintballs to swell, soften and become larger: therefore, always seal the bags well. This rule also applies during a game day on the field. -    Gelatine becomes brittle and more fragile in cold temperatures (below +10°C). -    Gelatine becomes soft and less brittle in heat (above +30°C). Paintballs that are 'too brittle' should therefore be carefully warmed up, and paintballs that are 'too hard' should be cooled down slightly in a controlled manner in order to influence their properties as desired. Application example: It is a cold spring morning, the outside temperature is below +5°C, and the paintballs are bursting in the barrel. Warm up the bags in a warm car and shoot them before they cool down. This will significantly reduce the problems. Alternatively, buy a paintball with a winter formula or a specific winter paint. Buying paintballs is like buying fruit, vegetables or meat - it's a matter of trust, as you can rarely tell the true properties of paintballs from the outside. Strict quality controls, safe transport and good needs assessment are therefore important to ensure you are happy with the product. The most expensive paintball is always the one that doesn't work!
